Environmental Social Governance
Brown & Watson International is dedicated to reducing our environmental footprint through continuous efforts to minimise energy and water usage, recycle and reduce waste. Our staff undergo training on the importance of reusing and recycling, which is central to our commitment to sustainability.
We are members of the Australian Packaging Covenant Organisation(APCO), a not-for-profit body leading the circular economy for packaging in Australia. APCO’s vision is a collaborative packaging value chain that diverts packaging from landfill, ensuring materials, energy, and labour retain their maximum value within the local economy. We support the APCO 2025 National Packaging Targets and utilise APCO’s Sustainable Packaging Guidelines (SPG’s) to guide and inform us on our decision making and action plans.
All of our energy now comes from 100% renewable sources through GreenPower, a government-managed initiative that promotes greater renewable energy generation in Australia.
We have also partnered with Sedex, a leader in social and environmental sustainability, to support ethical sourcing and responsible supply chain practices. This partnership demonstrates our commitment to sustainable and ethical business operations.
Our dedication to quality and high standards is recognised by our ISO9001:2018 certification, which ensures our systems and practices meet international standards.
