Giving Back to Our Community

At Brown & Watson International, we take great pride in being more than just sponsors; we are honored to collaborate with leading organisations to support those in need.

In 2023 BWI commenced their local community partnership with Team Sports 4 All, an organisation located in Victoria that assists families and children who are experiencing financial hardship, where they are not in a position to afford costs of being involved in community team sport.

Team Sports 4 All meet with the families, connect them with a club and team, pay for the children’s fees, uniform costs and even more critically, provide ongoing support to encourage long term participation.

We have partnered with the Maroondah chapter, which is an area of our community where our Head Office is located, in Knoxfield.

Our funds raised so far have been allocated to 4 children to assist in a sport that they choose. Two of the children are siblings, the son is wanting to play soccer and the daughter is wanting to play volleyball and they will join local clubs within our Maroondah chapter. This has provided an opportunity for these children to be part of a local community sports club, meet new friends and where they get to play a sport they love, outside of their school.

Each year the Starlight Children’s Foundation inspires us with its efforts to brighten the worlds of sick children.

Over the years we have helped many children to have a Starlight Wish granted like a family’s New Zealand holiday, playground specifically built to assist with special capability requirements.

BWI is honoured to support Starlight through our donation and on behalf of our customers, to continue to spread the joy of Starlight Experiences through make a wish to kids.

The Amber Community are a close organisation to BWI, dedicated to enhancing road incident support and education for the safety and wellbeing of road users.

Providing free counselling and support services to people impacted by road trauma, whether a witness, a family member, a driver, or an emergency service personnel affected by a road incident, the Amber Community team can assist. The Amber Community are committed to raising awareness about road trauma and the profound effects on people’s lives, positively influencing behaviours and attitude of drivers to reduce the incidents and associate trauma.

BWI is proud to support The Amber Community – Shine a Light on Road Safety campaign each year through our donation and advocate for safer roads and reducing the impact road trauma on our communities.
